All VICOM routing products (Vicomsoft Internet Gateway, SoftRouter Plus, DHCP Server, SurfDoubler) install this extension. The Gateway extension is an ALAP which allows Open Transport's TCP/IP control panel to see VICOM routing software. This is essential when using VICOM routing products and users must configure the TCP/IP control panel on the routing computer as:
Connect Via - VICOM TCP/IP
Configur      - Using PPP Server
This configuration allows users to run other TCP/IP services on the same machine.
